If I want video I'll have to invest in a recorder...  And then I'd have to mount it to the bike and hope it survives the crach.  :D   If my mechanic doesn't give me the bike back soon, I don't have to worry about it.

[quote="Namikuz(Marines) He(my son) is a crew Chief of some enormous hellicopter. They sent my son to a shrink, and they are saying that he has NO empathy for his fellow human. Hmm, Well we'll see.[/quote]

I should eventually be a crew chief on an enormous helicopter...  The CH-47 Chinook is what I'm going to be working on.  Marines not having empathy for their fellow humans...  Well there's a shocker!  Marines are trained to tear a person limb from limb, they're the toughest SOB's not in special forces.  At least in my opinion...  From what I've heard about their training, they kind of try to desensitize you.  A friend of my wife/ex says he was trained so that when he kicked in a door and went in a house and blasted the bad guy, take the very hot end of the barrel and put it in the bad guys eye...  If he moves shoot again...  No empathy....  Yeah, but swinging at someone with more rank...  not good...  Best wishes for your boy though, I hope the Capt' is sympathetic.

I noticed mine got low on oil, but that ties to the fact that I blew out the seals...  At least I would think...

They're supposed to be changing out the seals...  That's all I know.  I've heard you can shift without the clutch, and I've done it a couple of times on accident.     I need to get mine too though.

And I am stupid enough to be serious about the ice...   I could hear the Captain now...  WTF WERE YOU THINKING SOLDIER!!!!  I'M GOING TO PT THE SHYT OUTTA YOU AS SOON AS YOU GET OUTTA THE HOSPITAL!!!  YOU'LL WISH YOU DIED IN THAT WRECK MAGGOT!!!    SO YOU GOT A BROKEN ARM?!  WHY DON'T YOU DROP AND GIVE ME 50 ON YOUR BAD ARM!!!

Nice...  Well at least you're not known as her X...  My wife/ex-wife/seperated...  Well she tells people she lives with her X...  I'd rather be known as the boyfriend.

I could tell people the story to my name, but when I have they always think there is something wrong with me.

The Chief noticed a new seaman one day and barked at him to get over here.
What is your name?' was the first thing the Chief asked the new guy.
'John,' the new guy replied.
The Chief scowled, 'Look, I don't know what kind of bleeding-heart, liberal ass stuff they're teaching Sailors in boot camp today, but I don't call anyone by their first name. It breeds familiarity and that leads to a breakdown in authority. I refer to my Sailors by their last name only - Smith, Jones, Baker - that's all. I am to be referred to only as Chief. Do I make myself clear'?
Aye, aye, Chief!'
'Good! Now that we got that straight, what is your last name?'
The new guy sighed and said, 'Darling. My name is John Darling, Chief!'
'Okay --- John, here's what I want you to do.'

Okay Namikuz...  About the rabbits feet...  Having one is good luck...  two, not so good...  three i consider questionable, cause the second has cancelled out the first, but does the third continue to worsen the effects or does it turn back to good......   Regaurdless, four is no good...  You don't want an even number.  You could also view it as the luck gods saying, "Oh come the f*ck on!  How much od dam luck do you need!  I'll show your greedy ass..."

And now about the bees... :D

Well hello to you to Namikuz!  I'm sure you're going to be an awesome contributor, I've read all that you've posted thus far and you seem to know a great deal about the mechanical aspects of machines in general...  Glad to have you here and look forward to seeing what you've got to say.

Well aggieboi, I've got to get my bike back before I can really plan on any rallying...   I'm going to call and harass the guy tomorrow and see if he can't speed up this process any.

« on: October 31, 2008, 10:07:23 AM »
I listen to just about anything...  But Disturbed is my favorite band of all time.  I've got a buddy who exposes me to new music, and he's got me into many new bands...  I've found "Five Finger Death Punch", "36 Crazyfists", "Chiodos", "Scary Kids Scaring Kids", " A Change of Pace", "Ivoryline"....  He's got me a lot more music but I haven't got it yet...  I'm hung up on 36 Crazyfists right now...

I tried to upload one of the songs, but the file size it too big.  You can only upload files under 2MB.

Okay, an update...

They finally got in the CDI and changed it out.  They say that fixed part of the problem, but they say I blew the seals out and it shot oil all over the magneto...  So Monday he's going to take it to a guy in Dallas to have it worked on.  When I asked him how long it might be before I get it back he said a week or two... :D   Or maybe I'm just going to start venting in a different way...  Who knows...  I just know that the ways I used to vent aren't the best ways to go about it.  I'll let y'all know when I find out more.

Hey aggieboi, you know they make heated gear??? :D   I'm not sure how you'd wire it to the Zong, but I'm sure there's a way.  I'm kind of tempted by some of it...  I figure I'll be riding in all the icy shyt...  Eventually...

That's funny about the keeping it running.  I tore into mine for the first maintenance...  Literally...   ;)   There are several people who didn't get a manual...  Mine came with a maintenance manual and owners manual.  You should've gotten at least a six month warranty, I'd check now before you end up needing it.  There have been too many people with too many problems for you to ignore it...  I just don't wanna see you gettin' jacked around and getting discouraged.

One of us that has a munual should scan it to a computer and make a ".PDF" file for our brothren who were less fortunate.  Any volunteers???  I lack the scanner or I'd do it.  The only way I could do it right now would be to write it all out and that would be terrible...
