Hi,
just a post to introduce myself, I am retired, and I have bought second hand ZongshenZS 125-30 2008 with just over 1000 Km on it. The bike is MOT'd and on sorn.
I also have a 1999 Suzuki GZ 125 and I will insure both bikes on a multi-bike policy when the Suzuki insurance runs out in mid September.
I have had a brief ride of 12km on the Zongshen and all seemed O.K. but it has a missfire at highish revs (top third of rev range) under load. I have checked the coil resistance and it seems O.K. with readings of LT to earth 1.2 omhs and ht to earth of 4.2kohms (about the same as aHonda C90). I do not have the figures for the 6 terminals on the CDI unit so if anyone has them I would be obliged if they could post them so that I can check if the CDI's O.K.
My next ride on it will be in September when I can check out the miss fire further.
Tnx for reading, :)

Hi,
thanks for the links and welcome, I will keep these details for future referance but I still need the CDI's resistance's.
If I cant get them and further checking (in mid Sept when the bike is taxed and insured) of the missfire points to the CDI then I will probarbly buy a new one and try it.
I'll let you know hpw it goes.
