Title: 250gs cuts out at 2500 revs
Post by: harry on March 23, 2013, 11:27:34 PM
My 250 Gs is giving me problem where it dies when hit 2500 revs even when it idle. Starts fine and you can ride under 2500 revs but as soon you try to increase throttle it will start dropping rpm until it dies. Someone said its crabs/fuel issue but I have cleaned the carbs change the fuel plus new spark plug but still the same. Please help me out cause its my ride to work and I need to going pretty bad lol thanks

sounds like an air leak around the intake side take a can of starter fluid and lightly spray between the carb and the intake side on the cylinder beware not to use to much as you could flame up but if the motor dies or reves up there's a leak and you need to seal it it might be as simple as a lose screw
