Hi all, I have a 250gs I've been trying to resurrect from the dead, so far I have replaced the battery, the starter solenoid, the spark plug lead, the spark plug and the CDI. My question is, if I'm getting shocked when I hold the spark plug does that mean it's getting spark? As stupid as I sound asking this, I'm wondering if getting a shock equals getting a spark. I do not physically see a spark but a current is getting there, could it be the gap size? it seems to be right, thanks in advance.

Forums can tell you a lot about your questions,...if it doesn't get answered you're basically an idiot...so, the answer to my own question is:
getting shocked doesn't necessarily mean you're getting a spark, if you hold the spark against metal and see a spark then it's getting grounded and works, if not, back to the drawing board (or the zongshen 1800 number) just for anyone who happens to see this and doesn't want to feel dumb as I have :) thanks all
