Myth and I have been posting almost all day everyday, but we have MR and ICE with us. Tell us about yourselves.
-
Yo X, what're ya trying to make it sound like we don't do anything at work??? Just because we don't, doesn't mean you need to let everyone know. I've been waiting for that moment... :P
-
Nevermind.... Now it seems that I'm the only one here... So I'm not PMin anyone...
-
I'm Marc, I'm 21, I live in Montana, and I like to keep things to the point.
That makes me sound so cold. Anyway I'm a student at Montana State University getting a minor in music and getting a major in TBA. I got the zongshen to learn on, and am already looking into a bigger bike (What kind are you guys looking at if you're going to upgrade?)
So yeah, I play piano and guitar and obsessively check these forums twice a day. Crazy.
-
i'm here...and bit bored....
-
Sorry for dropping out on you Myth, I have to make it LOOK like I am working every once in a while.
Hello Marc, Its hard not to sound cold communicating via any typed medium. Montana, huh? I think you had mentioned that somewhere on here before, everytime it makes me think of my favorite beer - Moose Drool, which I think comes from Missoula. I can't find it around here, but I crave it on a daily basis, only place I have ever had it was in Portland, OR - but then I had Rogue to contest with also, which I would rank as number 2 on my list.
Favorite beers anyone?
-
San Miguel beer
-
Yeah, I have to work sometime too. It's only a matter of time before the computer natzis block this site... :D
-
San Miguel, I have never seen that, but I will now actively seek it out - It is a Philippines Beer I found a place that will ship it to IL http://http://beergeek.stores.yahoo.net/sammilabe12.html If I don't find it this weekend, I will submit my order.
Actually, lets make a little game here: For every beer that is suggested, I guarantee that I will try it! Anyone else in? Maybe a new thread for this little passtime?
-
I think that perhaps you just have not found the "right" beer myth - Just like they say, somewhere in the world, lives your doppelganger - Somewhere, in the world is the beer that is just right for you. If you like a sweeter booze, your beer may be Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat - it almost tastes like raspberry.
-
:)
I think I'm going to have to pass on this beer drinking game... Sorry X... I hear that you just have to keep drinking it and it'll grow on you... I wonder if the same thing rings true for piss...
Whatta ya think???
-
Oh, not a very good thought, although there are certain indigenous cultures that drink urine as a method of retaining the psychoactive properties of hallucinogens which are not completely metabolized. Not exactly my idea of a good time though. [Again, where is that barf smilie when you need it?]
As for Busch, that may not have been a good starting point into the wonderful world of beers. It is not all that awful, but I would not even place it in my top 1000 list.
-
There are people who love the "water works" kind of stuff...
I'll try to find that one beer and I'll let you know how it turns out. K?
-
I have been there [bangedup.com], and the pictures are pretty bad, yeah I don't have the stomach for that.
-
Did you get into the vids??? That's where you'll find the soup and many other things you'll wish you'd never seen.
And things you'll wish you can forget!
-
When I was a young fellow we used to watch the "Faces of Death" movie series, and most of the things I saw on those videos still haunt me. Maybe I am a wimp, but I just don't go for shock value or gore anymore.
-
Ok, Yall got me. I'm a cdl shunt driver and a forklift operator for a canadian trucking company outside of chicago. I get to frequent to forum a few times a day so I do miss some of the conversation. Sorry. Well anyway I'm doing my best to keep up on the forum to get new ideas and to find help and to offer help to anyone in our forum. This is the 4th bike I have owned. I also have a 1995 GSX-R750 with a few mods. She is a beast! :?

Hey ILL, I know I made a deal, but what if I have already had all those? Monterrey is the only one I haven't tried, so I will be on the lookout for that one.
Mexican Beers are good, Dos XX and Negra Modelo would be my pick from that particular genre, although my local pub sells $1 cans of Tecate, which are hard deal to pass.
I defiantly overindulged last evening, and am kinda burning away a good riding day. Oh well, my better half had a good time, so I guess that's what counts.
-
Sup X? The $1 deal is very hard to pass up   That m/f knocked the hell out of himself, wtf! It's good to see ur a well cultured beer expert as well. "Great Minds Drink Alike"... I wonder if that's copyright?
-
Thanks ILL, I like the "great minds drink alike"!
I did have the opportunity to meet the "Afro Ninja" in TX - Mark hicks was a great guy, and that little snafu that he had in the audition was actually genuine - he came back a few minutes later, tried again, and got the part. If you look him up on IMDB - he has done a ton of films, he was a really great guy to meet.
Next for me is the Flaming Lips "Christmas on Mars" thing. I am planning on loading up my 26" travel trailer on Tuesday and heading West to show the film across IA, IL and WI - I may even blog about the whole thing. Hoping to meet the Flaming Lips along the journey, but we will see.
So This weekend's beers included: New Glarus Spotted Cow in Lake Geneva, Way over indulged, and had to take Saturday off. Today (Sunday) found the new Bud American Ale, which I would compare to Killian's Red. It was a very good beer from Bud, had flavor and body.
Have a great Monday Folks!

Sorry I left y'all alone yesterday, I had other stuff going on, didn't make it into work. But I got to check out your blog X! Cool!
You should make a link in the picture request thread, cause you've got the most and most detailed pictures I've seen thus far of the Zongshen.
-
Hey Myth! I am traveling this week - in Des Moines, IA - so I won't be able to spend the work day posting. Thanks for checking my blog - One of the worst things about getting these bikes is the lack of detailed pictures. I had checked into the Lifan, bought a SunL, and when I purchased the Zongshen, it was pretty much just off the same stock picture that every seller has. I don't know why they can't put up a few actual pictures of the bike. Seeing how it fits an actual person may help too - I looked everywhere to make sure I wasn't buying a mini-bike, and just had to rely on the descriptions.
I am surprised I haven't seen my pics used on sales sites. Next, I hope to put up a few pictures of my bike customized. Paint, naked, I don't know what I am going to do yet, but it is time to individualize.
-
Work?? What's that?
-
*SLAP* :D
Though seeing as I only go to work and do actually do any work, I don't really see how I have the right.... But oh well.
