Title: General Questions about the 200gs

Ok im a newb when it comes to motorcycles.  but what type of spark plug should i get, a part number would be great to and where could i get it from, an autoparts store?  Also what type of oil should i use and how much.  also how often does the oil need to be changed? i have 1200 miles on my 2005 200gs and i bought it privatly so no dealership waranties here.  what things are considered basic maintence and what is needed for a basic tuneup?

Are you upgrading to an iridium plug? Or just replacing the stock plug? The manual that should have came with that bike suggests 1300mL (about 1.4 quarts) of 15W/40 oil, or whatever oil best suits the temperature of your location. As to how often you should change your oil, I don't remember, but it should be stated in your manual.

i dont have a manual, the owners that sold it to me said they would try to find it and get it to me, but no luck so far.
