Headlamp flickering

Had a problem this morning with my headlamp blinking on and off. I know someone had posted a  similar problem but could not find it. Can anyone help out? I checked the battery and it reads appropriate voltage so I don't think its that.

Is it dimming as if the current is altering or is it flashing on and off as if it's a loose connection? does it flicker over bumps or noticeable jolts in movement, or is it seemingly random? One of my first problems with the bike was just a bad wiring job, and after finding the part of the wire that was loose, it was a quick fix.

It doesn't act like a wiring problem. I  tested the battery again--this time while running. The battery showed 12.3 volts at idle and didn't change when revved. I believe its suppose to jump to 14ish at that point. This tells me there is something wrong with the charging system. I'm going to call Scooter Dynasty for yet another part. We'll see what happens.

I had a look at the globe and found the earth connection there was loose on the bayonet socket. Maybe yours is loose too. Check it out-it's not a good connection I found as its just a type of rivet and isnt easy to tighten.
